WR: H. E Maxwell Boakye, Member of the Council of State Commissions Refurbished Community Centre for Egbazo Residents in Jomoro Municipality

H. E Maxwell Boakye, Member of the Council of State representing the Western Region, has commissioned a newly refurbished community centre for the people of Egbazo in the Jomoro Municipality of the Western Region

The community centre, originally built in 1981, has now been transformed into a modern facility with funding provided by the member of the Council of State..
This adds to a number of social cohesion projects initiated and funded by Mr.Boakye, who made history as the youngest member of the Council of State that Ghana has ever had.

Nana Ama Achiaba IV, the Queen Mother of the Community, and Tufohene Abizi Kojo on behalf of the community, thanked the member of the Council for the good gesture and also presented traditional clothes to him on behalf of the community as a sign of appreciation.

Responding to the honour done him, Mr. Maxwell Boakye said that he was motivated by the communal spirit exhibited by the people of Egbazo.

He encouraged them to remain united and reaffirmed his commitment to support the community by donating 10 brand new desktop computers, alongside other development-oriented projects and programmes.

Present at the programme were Hon Benedict Boadi, MCE for Jomoro, Hon Emmanuel Agyekum, DCE for Ellembelle, and other functionaries of the ruling National Democratic Congress in the Western Region.
